Miranda 'Mirae' Moyo is a 21-year-old dancer who strives to redefine the female dance culture. She uses dance to amplify the strength, femineity and voice of young women. She recently completed her Advanced Level (ZIMSEC) pursuing sciences. She is the first female winner and 2x “Buck Diaries Street Dance Battles Champion” holder. I advocate for gender-equal opportunities and do my best to denounce the rampant misconception that female dancers are not being professional and the overt sexualisation of female dancers in the industry. About The Spotlighting Womxn Community Champion Initiative
The YIELD Trust's Spotlighting Womxn Community Champions during 16 days of activism is a novel structure that seeks to capacity strengthen and activate young women to take up spaces in communities and leadership in eliminating gender-based violence.

This initiative aims to have a vast and strong network of empowered young women offline and online who are a critical mass in overcoming the epidemic of gender-based violence in Zimbabwe and the world.
