Activism and the Housing Crisis in Westchester

This special presentation and discussion on the housing shortage in Westchester County took place on April 4, 2022. It was hosted by the Welcome Home Westchester campaign and sponsored by Up2Us.

We discussed what causes the housing shortage; what are the negative effects for our residents, our young people, our seniors, our people with disabilities, our people of color, our climate, our economy, our property taxes, and our schools; how are local governments dealing with it; and what can YOU as an activist do to make your voice heard.
