【Synopsis】In 1867, Li Hongzhang (played by Sun Haiying) wrote a letter, and the Qing government ordered the establishment of a shipping school, where foreigners taught Western naval knowledge. Deng Shichang (played by Lu Yi) came to apply for the exam, and with the help of Liu Buchan's siblings, he was a blockbuster. In 1877, Deng Shichang sent his students to the Royal Naval Academy for further study. Four years later, Deng Shichang, on behalf of the imperial court, welcomed his classmates to victory. He met Liu Buchan's sister (played by Gong Jie) on the streets of London and taught the provocative foreigners a lesson. At the graduation meeting, the dialogue between Deng Shichang and Liu Buchan with Ito Yuheng (played by Xia Yu) and Togo Heihachiro paved the way for the future maritime confrontation between the two countries. Li Hongzhang formed the Beiyang Naval Division, and played to Emperor Guangxu (played by Guo Jiaming). At the same time, the Emperor of Japan called on the government and the public to donate their salaries and bought the ironclad ship, and Ito Hirobumi also gave a memorial to the invasion. Ding Ruchang (played by Yang Lixin), the Admiral of the Beiyang Navy, led Liu Buchan, Deng Shichang and other officers from the "Zhenyuan" and "Zhiyuan" to visit Japan.
