Israel's Former Spy Chief discusses Gaza war | Conflict Zone

Four months into the Gaza war— and there is no end in sight to the killing and the suffering. How long can Israel continue its military campaign, as its allies warn increasingly that the Palestinian casualties cannot be justified? Our guest is Efraim Halevy, former head of Israel’s foreign intelligence service, the Mossad.
He told Tim Sebastian the war in Gaza is taking longer than expected but said it was up to the Palestinians to “rise up” against Hamas.
For now, Europe and America are insisting that this war ends with a pathway to Palestinian statehood. Jerusalem says no. In the midst of this division, who and what can stop the bloodshed?
