The head of the United Nations has said that “total lawlessness” and “chaos” has been preventing the distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told reporters that “most of the trucks with humanitarian aid inside Gaza are now looted” and called this war “different from any other.”

The statement seemingly echoes the comments by Israel that aid is coming into Gaza, but being stolen, much of it by terrorists, never making it to any civilians in need.

Saturday marked Day 260 of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza that began following the terror group’s surprise attack on Israel that killed 1,200 people and led to the kidnapping of more than 250 people.

Of those hostages, an estimated 120 remain in captivity more than eight months later.

Tensions also continue to escalate in the north between Israel and Hezbollah with attacks from Lebanon on a near-daily basis.
