Thank you everyone for tuning in to today's coverage. We see that there is lots of interest in the junior events which is fantastic!

The current position from Sky Sport Next, Athletics NZ and NZSSAA, in collaboration with School Sport NZ is to focus on the senior events. The reason for this is to protect our rangatahi and create a safe broadcast environment while still showcasing the senior talent.

Whilst disappointing for those parents at home who wish to see their juniors compete, we hope this inspires them to compete at senior level with always the aim to keep more young adults playing, participating and enjoying Athletics. When the juniors get to senior level they will be seen all over the country on the Sky Sport Next Channel.
