There are many reasons people become homeless:
1. lack of affordable housing
2. loss of a job
3. underemployment
4. illness
5. drug use
6. domestic abuse

How can you help:
- Donate to a local non-profit (money, food, clothing)
- Volunteer at a shelter or soup kitchen
- Show them respect
- Advocate for the homeless
- Help all year around, not just during the holidays
- Pray for those in need
