Spiritual art, creativity spirituality and spiritual painting ideas

Spiritual art is interesting to look at for multiple reasons. Just to look at the artwork, or to see if it relates to you and your relation to spirituality. Even more interesting is this when it is abstract spiritual art. This video is inspired by the exhibition catalogue The Spiritual in Art, abstract Paintings 1890 – 1985. Painting spiritual art is also very rewarding. By making spiritual paintings you can learn how to express yourself on this subject. The spiritual artwork that you make can be shown to others what can lead to interesting conversations concerning the spiritual in art. In this video I show spiritual contemporary art and also spiritual modern art which relates to the paintings I make show spiritual painting ideas or creative spirituality.

The exhibition was presented in the Los Angeles County Museum (1986), Museum of contemporary Art in Chicago (1987) and in The Hague, the Netherlands at the Haags Gemeentemuseum (1987).

In almost all my videos I use with Winsor&Newton Galeria acrylics, if not, I will say so in the video.
Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape. I also use household items like a permanent marker, scrub sponge, scissors, paper towel, and so on.
