Strike kills Iran-backed militia leader in Baghdad | DW News

Iraq has denounced the United States for a drone strike its capital, Baghdad. A spokesperson for Iraq's prime minister said the attack was pushing his government to end the mission of the US-led coalition in the country, describing the mission as a source of instability in his country. The strike killed three members of a powerful Iran-backed militia, including its leader, and was conducted without prior consulation with Iraqi authorities.
