২৩ বছর ধরে বন্ধ পড়ে আছে মিরপুরে মুক্তিযুদ্ধ কল্যাণ ট্রাষ্টের এক'শ শয্যার হাসপাতাল। অযন্তে অবহেলায় নষ্ঠ হয়ে গেছে কোটি টাকার সম্পদ। এই করোনাকালে অন্তত কর্তৃপক্ষ বিষয়টির দিকে নজর দেবে এই প্রত্যাশা স্থানীয় মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের। যদিও ট্রাষ্টের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক বলছে, এই ভবনের বিকল্প ব্যবহারের কথা ভাবছেন তারা।

The 100-bed hospital of Bangladesh Freedom Fighter Welfare Trust in Mirpur remained closed for the last 23 years, damaging property worth of crores of Taka. Locals expect that authorities concerned will look into the matter at least during this coronavirus pandemic.
